Elegant Town Hall Wedding

Stratford-upon-Avon Town Hall, situated in the very heart of this delightful market town is a very beautiful building, housing not only the Town Council but providing a romantic venue for civil weddings.

The downstairs chambers are steeped in history and the impressive Council Chamber walls document many years of the town’s Bailiffs, Mayors, High Stewards, Town Clerks and notable persons, including William Shakespeare’s father, John Shakespeare, who was Bailiff in 1568-1569.

I loved everything about this wedding ... from the elegant Georgian splendour of the Town Hall to the timeless brass candelabras that adorned the tables. This wedding really was the height of sophistication.

The delicate shades of ivory, powder blue and apricot complimented Sonia's bridal gown and her five beautiful bridesmaids perfectly.

The buttonholes, a simple mix of rose, waxflower, thistle and eucalyptus, proudly pinned to each lapel like a badge of honour.

The impressive staircase leading to the splendid Ante Room and Ballroom, housed the most unforgettable of wedding receptions. Both rooms of beautiful proportion, with magnificent chandeliers and mirrors creating the effect of infinity.

It’s clear to see that every aspect of this wedding was planned with such precision and attention to detail, resulting in a fairytale wedding most people only dream of.
